Andrei’s back

See that lil’ flame in my “Inspiration” block? It used to lead to a dusty old site. But now it’s back, with a vengeance! Yes. Design by Fire, the critically acclaimed journal on design, life & everything by Andrei Herasimchuk, has risen from the ashes.

Can’t wait to see what wisdom he has to share with us!

And no, I’m not just saying that because it might help my chances in the (very old) DxF Recoding Challenge…

I’m glad to see that others missed my son as much as we missed him too. He’s been incredibly busy. Almost a workaholic like his Dad can be at times. I hope he continues to inspire, confound and contest the inellectual boundaries of all of you young designers, engineers and philosophers. An expression from my time: “Keep on truckin’”

  3. Yes, I imagined his start-up would be the cause for his ‘disappearance’.

I saw that site and admired the semitransparent parts at the top and above the bottom block.

But using the space bar to scroll down to the next part of the screen while reading the articles showed the problem: with each step four to five lines of text are lost in the dust. To avoid this, I had to use the cursor keys or the mouse at the scroll bar.

Are there any possibilities to overcome this, e.g. to limit the step size done by the space bar?
